This is a sketch of Marilyn Monroe that I did using a Hob pencil and a 4b pencil for tone. Then once I did that process I then I went onto Photoshop to see what it would look like if I added tattoos to her and this am my outcome.

These were the objects in which I have chose of my moulds for my casting resin for my colour project which were a head from a toy, reel of cotton, toy car wheel, clip from a bungee chord and a graphite stick. They are all placed on the vacuum former ready to be moulded.

In this photo you can see the object’s getting placed onto the vacuum former with this I had to team up with another member from the class.

These are all the colours of the casting resin made up ready to go in to the moulds as there was no black casting resin I chose the blue and chose to add black paper into the casting mould.

These are the finished moulds of the object that I chosen. I have moulded wire into the shape of the mould so that I could use the wire to place them in a wooden frame. To make sure the moulds are level I used clay to hold them in place so  the casting resin has a smooth surface.

This is the casting resin being poured into my moulds after I placed the chopped up paper into my moulds.

This is the mould once it is has hardened, to cut them out I used a scapal to cut them out and then I placed them on a clean surface.

These are my finished moulds placed on a clean piece of paper so the moulds are not affected by any dirt or dust.
In this photo as you can see the objects are placed on a angle this is purposely done as I was working out how I would place my objects in a frame

with in this photo I have chosen the right way in which I want my work do be placed. Then I had two pieces of wood to square out the work and ready  to measure up for the frame.

This is the the frame cut out and sanded with 240 grit sand paper and 400 grit sand paper to be smooth and  ready to be glued and stapled together.
